Lino-cut with Chine-collé

- Type Workshop
10am – 4pm at Cardiff Print Workshop
Chine Collé is a technique that combines collage with printmaking. Coloured papers cut to match elements of the image are prepared with glue and laid upon the inked block along with a backing paper before printing in the press. Effectively printing and sticking at the same time.
This is a technique that is usually employed with etching, but when used with linocut produces stunning graphic effects and colourful layered backgrounds.
Cost: £75 (10% off for CPW members)
