Cromer, on the north Norfolk coast, prepares for its end of pier variety show in the summer of 2019. A heady mix of burlesque song and dance, stand-up comedy and slapstick performed twice a day for three months. Shot beautifully on 16mm film, this affectionate documentary is a love letter to Britain from our friends in Europe, a bittersweet look at the performers, stage workers and townsfolk who flock to the shows.
