In an isolated coastal village Mama Efe claims to hold the keys to the all-powerful water spirit, Mami Wata. The villagers give her offerings but at home Efe clashes with her daughters Zinwe and Prisca. When power shifts, the two sisters must fight to save their people and restore the glory of the mermaid goddess to the land.
