Queer Short Film Prize 2024

Entries for the Chapter Queer Short Film Prize 2024 are now open! 

This May we celebrate the best LGBTQIA+ films shorts made in Wales. Chapter is a nominating partner of the Iris Prize Best British Short, and we are looking for an LGBTQIA+ short film to nominate from our region.

Shortlisted films will be shown at this special Chapter MovieMaker screening on Monday 20 May and the winning film chosen by Chapter will be part of the Iris Prize Best British programme and shown on Channel 4 and Film4.

Our deadline is Tuesday 30 April 2024. Please send submissions to moviemaker@​chapter.​org. They should be either HD-quality mov or mp4 files, or a DCP.

Tickets to the screening are free and we recommend booking in advance. The programme may contain strong material that’s only suitable for over 18s.
