Chapter’s June Highlights

This June, our programme rejoices in LGBTQIA+ short films and features, art, dance and performance! In our gallery, Adham Faramawys exhibition continues until 23 June. Spend some time with their affecting installation that explores the entanglement of land, rivers and migratory flows.

In our theatres Amy Mason presents her hotly anticipated debut stand-up show Free Mason, and outdoors, Osian Meilir brings QWERIN, a dynamic mix of Welsh folk-dancing with the pulsating energy of Queer nightlife.

Explore the divided feminine in Billy Morgan’s Hotelle, then join us afterwards in the caffi bar for a DJ set with Raven.

Theatre maker Tom Marshman gathers intergenerational voices to explore their Section 28 stories in the playful, honest and heartfelt portrait, Section 28 and Me, with a special tea party the day before.

In our cinemas we’re showing three films for Ukraine Day, marking the beginning of Refugee Week, 17 – 23 June.

SAFAR Film Festival returns for On Dreams, Hopes and Reality, with new releases, classics, family friendly screenings, archive films, special events and more!

On Wednesday 19 June, we warmly welcome Oasis One World Choir for a singing workshop, followed by a free performance in our caffi bar, and we’re excited to host a conversation with Marina Barham, General Director of Al Harah Theater in Bethlehem Palestine on 27 June.
